Merge Opportunities is a nonprofit organization offering a comprehensive, full-service Employment Readiness Program for system-impacted individuals, transitioning foster youth (ages 18–28), and individuals experiencing housing insecurity.

Our dedicated career coaches provide personalized, one-on-one support—guiding each candidate through every step of their journey toward job placement and long-term economic stability.

Core services include a job search toolkit, employment readiness assessments, resume writing, and mock interviews. We also offer hands-on assistance with online job applications, networking strategies, and provide access to professional attire and hygiene items. In addition, we connect participants with housing opportunities when needed.

We place a strong emphasis on upskilling and soft skills development, and we proudly refer individuals to our trusted network of community and corporate partners for wraparound services that support overall success.

  • Employment Readiness Program

    Empowers young adults with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in today’s job market. Through hands-on training, personalized mentorship, and essential resources, we guide participants in building resumes, honing interview skills, and developing workplace professionalism. The program connects individuals with real job opportunities and offers ongoing support to ensure they succeed and grow in their careers.

  • Post-Placement Mentorship Program

    Ensures that young adults have the support they need to thrive after securing employment. Through one-on-one mentorship, participants gain guidance on navigating workplace challenges, building professional skills, and setting long-term career goals. This continued support helps them stay on track, grow in their roles, and feel confident in their path forward. Together, we’re fostering sustained success and empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential.

  • Trade Apprenticeship & Work Experience Internships

    Provides hands-on learning and paid valuable work experience for young adults exploring careers in skilled trades. Through structured apprenticeships and internships, participants gain industry-specific skills, real-world experience, and mentorship from experienced professionals. This program opens doors to high-demand careers, equipping individuals with the tools and confidence to build a sustainable future in their chosen trade.
